กลุ่มอาชีพ HANDMADE (ทำมือ) หนังผสมไม้ไผ่ เป็นกลุ่มอาชีพที่เกิดจากการรวมตัวของสมาชิกที่อาศัยอยู่บริเวณตลาดน้ำคลองลัดมะยม มีสมาชิกในกลุ่มทั้งสิ้น 10 คน โดยมีนายสมชาย มีประสพ เป็นหัวหน้ากลุ่ม เพื่อรวมตัวกันประกอบอาชีพผลิตผลิตภัณฑ์จากไม้ไผ่และเศษหนังซึ่งเป็นวัสดุที่มีอยู่มากในท้องถิ่นและเป็นวัสดุที่เหลือใช้ นำมาดัดแปลงก่อให้เกิดประโยชน์ตามลำดับ โดยอาศัยภูมิปัญญาความรู้ ความชำนาญแต่ละด้านของสมาชิกแต่ละคนที่มีอยู่ เช่น การออกแบบ การสาน การขึ้นโครง เป็นต้น เพื่อส่งเสริมให้สมาชิกในกลุ่มมีรายได้อีกทางหนึ่ง และเป็นการช่วยเหลือซึ่งกันและกันในกลุ่มสมาชิก

นอกจากนี้ยังเป็นการอนุรักษ์ภูมิปัญญาของท้องถิ่นให้มีอยู่อย่างยั่งยืน ดังที่ทางกลุ่มยินดีที่จะมีการอบรม หรือให้ข้อมูลข่าวสารแก่ผู้ที่สนใจ ซึ่งผลิตภัณฑ์ที่ในกลุ่มผลิตเป็นหลัก ภายใต้แบรนด์ "Chaiyo" คือ กระเป๋า ไม่ว่าจะเป็น กระเป๋าสะพาย กระเป๋าใส่โทรศัพท์มือถือ ฯลฯ





Leather & Bamboo Handicraft Group is the occupation group that found by the cooperation between members who live around the community. Their cooperation is aim to manufacture product from bamboo and leather such as Bamboo Bag with Leather.

The Leather & Bamboo Handicraft Group use the material ,that can be easy to find in local and left by the community ,and alter them to be the component of their various designs of bags using natural materials , woven bamboo, and genuine leather make it fashionable for general uses in branded "Chaiyo". Moreover, the group also preserve indigenous knowledge and made folk wisdom sustainable.
